Job Description:
Excellent opportunity with a client located in Central New Jersey for an Accountant to ensure that all activities related to the reporting, revenue, cost of goods sold and project accounting are performed according to specifications and given documentation. This position will support the Technology Center Financial Controller with analysis from the business, and assist the management in order to ensure that the financial understanding and control of their business is continuously improved. Duties and responsibilities will include to assist with controls and prepares general ledger entries including prepaids, accruals, allocations, etc., to review detailed revenue and cost of good sold transactions, to prepare the profit and lost and the associated comments, etc. To be considered you should have a Finance or Accounting Degree or designation, or equivalent experience and up to 2 or more years experience in a financial role preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry. This company offers an excellent opportunity for growth as long as you are willing to relocate for an advancement opportunity within 2-4 yrs. Candidates local to the area or willing to relocate on their own only as there is no relocation for this position.
