Maintenance Supervisor
Job Location: Rome, GA
Job Summary:
Temple-Inland Rome Lumber Operations has an opening for a Maintenance Supervisor who will have the responsibility for leading, monitoring, and managing the day-to-day operations of one of the Maintenance crews. Saturday and Sunday work is required.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for direct maintenance efforts in support of the production process. This position has the responsibility to ensure that the maintenance efforts support the plant's established performance standards in the areas of safety, production, uptime, quality, cost control, and environmental. The Maintenance Supervisor will train all employees in the concepts of work and waste and the need for CPI through concepts of reducing waste. This position will ensure proper preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance procedures and techniques are effectively communicated and administered. The Maintenance Supervisor will also monitor, review and adjust as necessary to comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as align with all company policies and procedures. This position will become familiar with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (EMPAC), MS Office, and MS Project.
Applicant must have good computer and organizational skills, proficiency in both written and verbal communications, and excellent human relations skills. Applicant must have at least five years maintenance experience with at least two years of supervisory experience.
