Brief Description:
Under the direction of a RN or physician, the Technician works cooperatively with all team members to provide technical patient care services. The Technician assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions and provides specific and general departmental support duties. High standards are maintained in every aspect of the endoscopy technician's duties including providing optimal patient care, assuring procedures run without delay, preventing the incidence of infection and the need for alternate equipment or supplies. The technician adheres to all policies and procedures and standards of care and promotes teamwork among co-workers.
Requirements:
High school graduate. BCLS certificate. One year experience in a hospital setting. Communicates fluently in oral and written English.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
