Brief Description:
24-hour responsibility for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which include Multidisciplinary Team Management, Budget, Policy-making, Program and Staff Development, Total quality Management, Title 22 compliance, JCAHO Accreditation, Utilization Review and Discharge Planning. Effective written and verbal skills to coordinate various levels of clinical and administrative staff, physicians, patients and families, payors, managed health networks and external agencies in order to communicate and affect problem resolution.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure as an R.N. in California; a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing with 4 yrs of recent clinical exp. in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit program; or a Master's degree with an emphasis in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nursing and/or program administration and 2 years of recent clinical exp.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
