Technical Specialist, with commissioning experience in Mission Critical Data Centers

Newly created opening due to continued growth looking for commissioning agents with critical facilities / 24x7x365 mission critical data center experience. Commissioning is the systematic process that provides documented evidence that critical building systems are installed correctly and operate as intended according to the basis for design, construction documents, and the owners operational needs. When properly completed, commissioning optimizes energy efficiency and reduces operating costs by avoiding post occupancy troubleshooting.
About the OPPORTUNITY: Investment in the data center services segment of the mission critical infrastructure industry is growing over 30 annually because these services are integral to protecting existing millions of dollars already invested in IT hardware, software and networking investments of an order of magnitude that pale by comparison. Profitable, privately held company that has been in business for over 25 years, demand for our clients expertise in Mission Critical Data Center Operations and Maintenance services has propelled consistent annual growth of 15 for the last four years.
About the Position: This newly created opening exists because of the sustained, increasing nationwide demand for our clients mission critical infrastructure solutions. Organizations in information intensive industries (e.g. financial services, the DoD, co-location and web hosting firms) are the ones that most highly value our clients renowned expertise: designing and refining data center operations and maintenance services, assessing existing data center capabilities, and assisting with the design-build of new requirements, commissioning and staffing of new and existing mission critical infrastructure data centers. Commissioning of critical facilities infrastructure and 24x7x365 data centers are an integral part of the full life cycle of services that our client provides.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience:
Developing supervising and implementing problem resolution methodologies.
Ensuring all testing and procedures are in accord with current industry standards and procedures.
Acting as liaison with vendors and subcontractors for problem resolution and testing
Developing and documenting startup and commissioning policies and procedures.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
At least seven years of electrical power distribution or mechanical systems experience (preferably both), including demonstrated technical knowledge of electrical distribution and emergency/standby power systems,
Experience with mission critical center equipment systems such as power generation and distribution systems, UPS, static transfer switches, PDUs, BAS BMS systems, fire detection/suppression or monitoring/control systems, and HVAC equipment. (Please elaborate in your response)

must have or be able to obtain a passport.
QCP and or ASHRAE certifications a plus.
