Job Description:
TWO HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGERS -- Newly Created Positions
Reports to Director(s)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The HR Manager position is a generalist position supporting all departments within this non-union organization and having a professional as well as technical focus.

Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies.

Must have a thorough understanding of staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs.

Ensure that open positions are filled in accordance with established and agreed to time-to-fill tables.

Coordination/reporting of corporate statistics, as well as maintenance of required information and reports.

Experience with diversity initiatives in employee selection.

Visa/green card processing experience may be helpful.

Must use good judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Develop relationships and work closely with Human Resources and other departments in support of the above responsibilities.

May or may not have immediate supervisory responsibility, but management experience is ideal for growth within the organization.

Requires a bachelors degree in a related area and at least five (5) years of experience in the field.

Fast-paced environment. Must be decisive!

Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOCK-OUT-FACTORS: Lack of mobility. Candidates must be willing to relocate to other locations.

Education, experience and skills:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred). A minimum of five (5) years experience as a human resources professional in a Fortune 500 company. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Superior written and oral communications skills.
