Director of Surgical Services
Leadership and dedication bye words for opportunity. Our client, a 40 bed community hospital is seeking a leader and a doer an individual who enjoys management and has the experience in doing so, along with an ability to circulate and assist from time to time. Working with a cohesive surgery team of 15 talented individuals, the Director will oversee both inpatient and outpatient surgery in Orthopedic, Vascular, Endoscopy, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Thoracic and Podiatry. With approximately 200 surgery cases a month and 4 surgery suites, this is an excellent opportunity to combine your management experience while keeping current in surgery and patient care.
Requirements: BSN with circulating experience (Registered Nurse First Assistant would be ideal) and at least three years in management is preferred. Willing to consider alternative clinical focus with extensive management background and some experience in OR. Standard business and clinical computer systems knowledge and proven track record of successful management in similar settings is highly desired.
