Aerodynamics engineer
Join a leader in the industry, have an opportunity to work with a team of 8 engineering members whom have an average tenor of 16 years with this aerospace manufacturer where they are leading the pack! This team is looking for an aerodynamics engineer to focus on multiple design projects and programming efforts. You will spend half of your time on performance and integration of aerodynamics design projects and the other half on improving methods of computer programs. The position will offer you the opportunity to work in a multi-project, fast paced environment where you can work daily with general aviation customers. This is a visionary organization that is looking for team members to push all possibilities. Qualified candidates should be ambitious, detail oriented with their work, able to prioritize multiple projects, innovative and have good problem solving abilities. This organization focuses on continuing education and the growth of their employees.
Candidates will be offered medical which is eligible the day of hire, pension and 401k, tuition reimbursement and vacation.
Qualified candidates MUST have the following functions:
1.A 4 year technical degree in aerospace engineering
2.At least two years of aerodynamics knowledge focusing on the design and performance of parts such as engines, propellers, wing, turbo, or the helicopter industry.
3.Programming skills (Visual Basic, C.net or C)
4.A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read drawings
5.Microsoft Office packages
6.The desire to move to the greater Dayton, Ohio area
Skills that are desired, but NOT required:
1.A pilots license or interest in general aviation
2.Fortran
3.Masters degree
