Job Description:
Primary Job Responsibilities:
1.Monitor daily, the Balance Due Report and make necessary arrangements to ensure the on time delivery of material shipments.
2.Process and review the Supplier Delivery Schedule. Process and verify the production needs will be met. Contact suppliers about potential problems and resolve immediately.
3.Perform weekly analysis of supplier releases.
4.Maintain frequent contact with suppliers regarding part release information.
5.Review daily receivers for accuracy and content.
6.Record as they occur, all expedited freight charges and file in the Freight Logbook. Report monthly, the premium freight totals to the Materials Manager with an analysis and corrective action plan to the causes for the premium move.
7.Provide month-end reports on premium freight and supplier on-time delivery.
8.Assist in conducting physical inventories as they occur.
9.Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory levels. Research questionable counts and submit documentation for inventory adjustment.
Education Required:
College degree or some college or technical schooling preferred, strong verbal, computer and math skills required. APICS certification a plus.

3-10 years of experience
