Job Description:
Specific Duties:
Actively participate in machine and process flow design in order to optimize manufacturing efficiencies and machine uptime.
Prepare and implement manufacturing plans that address manufacturing methods.
Evaluate efficiencies, machine capabilities and limitations, process improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
Schedule and coordinate periodic machine maintenance and tooling and equipment upgrades.
Train operators and maintenance staff in the areas of safety and equipment maintenance.
Utilize hands-on mechanical and technical skills, as well as interpersonal skills, to help team members and maintenance members diagnose and repair machinery and manufacturing problems.
Evaluate space utilization and develop improvements based on Kaizen or workflow analysis.
Ability to help build parts on the floor/5S.
Experience:
2-8 years of experience
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: 58000 - 70000
