CLIENT BUSINESS: Regional IBM Business Partner
POSITION: Account Executive
LOCATION: Open, Prefer Southeast Mid-Atlantic US

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
This is an opportunity to join a growing regional IBM Business Partner that have been specializing in infrastructure solutions centered around the IBM iSeries platform. They are planning future growth in the Open Systems environment, with focus on the IBM pSeries, xSeries, BladeCenter and IBM storage offerings. They are looking to hire several additional sales professionals to help fuel their growth. The ideal candidates would meet the following requirements:

o Past employment of IBM, an IBM Business Partner, or other Open Systems server/storage manufacturer or VAR in direct sales.
o Must not have restrictive or enforceable employment contract non-compete agreement.
o Must have strong knowledge of the Open Systems Server and/or Storage marketplace. Ideal products would be IBM pSeries, IBM xSeries, IBM BladeCenter and IBM DS Family. Open to experience with Sun, HP, Dell, EMC, HDS, Network Appliance, etc. Either currently certified or able to become certified.
o Ideal candidate would have good understanding of TSM, Server/Storage Consolidation, SVC, Virtualization, VMware, LPAR, High Availability, SAN/NAS, Security, iSeries and IBM Software.
o 10+ years of outstanding proven sales skills and track record.
o Outstanding verbal written skills.
o Self-starter independent.
o Ability to work from home office.
o Ability to manage the entire sales process, with assistance from HQ Arrow teams. Ideal candidates will have strong technical background, not overly reliant on presales for qualification.
o Must Haves: Integrity, strong product knowledge, technical certifications client base that will follow.

CLIENT BACKGROUND: The company is a Premier IBM Business Partner that provides information technology solutions to all size companies in the IBM Marketplace. Their expertise lies in developing and delivering solutions that help their clients: build a world-class IT infrastructure maintain and support that infrastructure and save time and money. Their superior solutions, senior level sales and technical knowledge, and unmatched client satisfaction, have earned them their status in the IBM Business Partner communiy. Company is privately owned and has been in business since 1997. Areas of concentration include IBM servers, storage, backup/recover, high availability, document imaging and security.

COMPENSATION: No cap on earnings, with a highly leveraged compensation plan. Their sales reps take home 45 - 60 of the GP on their deals, plus additional bonuses available. Company can be flexible in developing a compensation plan that includes a salary or draw too.
