Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate with a consulting or project manager/program manager background that has worked for a consulting and/or software company or integrator and has experience working with clients managing financial software product implementations for the following position:
Position title: Client Consultant
Location: Silicon Valley area
Responsibilities :
Plan and lead the implementation projects with our clients, including the preparation of project
deliverables following our prescribed methodology
Identify and work with the client to manage all aspects of the project including risk
management, change management, scope and project responsibilities
Understand and document the clients business processes and requirements for accounting,
inventory, project management, time billing and expense reporting
Identify the clients key business results expected from the implementation
Configure the applications to support the clients business processes and facilitate the
achievement of targeted results
Coordinate data migration and consolidation activities with ability to complete tasks personally
if necessary
Provide client training
Work closely with Sales, Engineering and Support to deliver excellent service to clients
during the implementation
Support in the sales cycle to provide implementation information needed to close the sale
Contribute to the development of processes and procedures for Professional Services, including
the development of templates, documentation of lessons learned, contribution to the knowledge
base, etc.
Provide regular written reports on project status
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience managing implementation projects for clients
Recent experience with financial and/or accounting software applications (must have)
Troubleshooting skills and superb analytical skills: ability to think outside-the-box to resolve
problems
Good facilitation techniques for information gathering and determining client business
requirements
Ability to assess clients requirements accounting, inventory, project management, time
billing and expense reporting
Training delivery experience, including outstanding group presentation and communication
skills
Travel as required(approximately 50).
Highly enthusiastic, positive-minded, customer focused, service-orientated
Good understanding of internet technologies
Quick learner and self-starter requiring ability to work independently at client site
Preference for working collaboratively in a team environment
Understanding of financial and supply chain processes preferred
Bachelors degree, preferably in business or accounting.
Ideal candidates for this position will have this background and will come from large consulting companies such as PWC, Accenture, Cap-Gemini, Deloitte or from software companies like Epicor, Microsoft-Great Plains, Intuit, Quickbooks, Accpac, MAS90, Sage Software, Everest, Best Software, Netsuite, Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, IBM, etc., or from organizations that specifically implement financial and/or accounting type software.
