Reliability and Maintainability Engineer, Tulsa OK
$85 to $95K targeted salary hiring range.

This position provides technical support in multiple areas of Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) to include fault tree analysis, RMA probability modeling, system/subsystem/component MTBF calculations, system/subsystem/ component failure analysis, reliability and availability assessment, and service life analysis/ assessment (including aging surveillance). Perform FMECA on Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Electro-mechanical, Electro-optical systems/subsystems/components. Responsible for defining and resolving customer critical product reliability issues through rigorous engineering analysis and multi-disciplined IPTs. Employ statistical analysis, root cause corrective action, facilitation, leadership, and change management skills to achieve project goals. Provide project test requirements, both reliability and performance, in addition to supporting the design engineers through test planning, execution, and report generation.
Successful candidates will have at least 6 years of reliability experience on military and/or military commercial-derivative aircraft, with a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science or Mathematics. The work is on Gulfstream G-IIB OEM systems and mission-specific systems. U.S. Citizenship. Pass a drug screen test. Possess or ability to obtain security clearance. Ability to obtain Class-III Flight Physical complete Physiological Training (Altitude Chamber), and perform airborne duties to investigate system anomalies, as required. Travel and overtime, as required. Knowledgeable of System Engineering processes. Knowledgeable and experienced in conducting failure analysis of functional system/subsystem/components as well as use FMECA/FMEA to identify product and process weaknesses. Ability to apply knowledge of mission reliability, mission/system availability and maintainability to predict and verify product performance in the mission environment. Capable of recommending, establishing and conducting the testing solutions to address identified weaknesses. Good verbal and written communication skills including writing briefings, reports and procedures. Knowledgeable and experienced with MS Office Suite.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
