Requirements:
Possess an M.S./PhD, or equivalent - in Biology or Bioinformatics
3+ years direct, hands-on experience in a research or production environment.
Perl required, C and Java desirable
Linux, Shell scripting required
Expert use of biological sequence databases
Strong capability in data mining and pattern recognition
Significant scientific programming and tool development experience in sequence analysis, high-throughput sequencing and genotyping.
Works very thoroughly, yet in a fast paced manner.
Effectively manages change, while inspiring colleagues-to help meet departmental milestones.
Experienced in both research and development.
