Accountant Assistant Manager
Due to growth you have an opportunity to join this winning team. This company has been in business in the Findlay, Ohio area for over 15 years and has never experienced a layoff. Diverse in their business mix they supply to Harley Davidson, Honda, Buell and General Motors. Due to growth and the continuous intensity of this fast paced supplier they are looking for an accountant. As an accountant you will have the opportunity to work with diverse tasks daily including: general financial accounting, tax including CAPEX, RD and Section 199, internal control (SOX), budgeting and cost accounting, loan control and treasury functions. You will work with a team of 6 in the accounting group and report directly to the accounting manager whom has been there for 13 years. Qualified candidates should be flexible, able to work in a fast paced environment, patient, open-minded, able to trouble shoot numbers and financials, handle multiple tasks and deadlines. REQUIREMENTS for the accountant:
1. Bachelors degree in accounting
2. At least 10 years of manufacturing accounting experience
3. Experience with general financial accounting knowledge (US GAAP, Foreign Exchange and Consolidated accounting)
4. Experience with SOX (sarbanes-oxley compliance)
5. Tax Accounting
6. Managerial Accounting (budgeting, forecasting and cost)
7. Financing (Loan Control and Treasury functions)
8. Microsoft office experience
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Automotive experience
2. International business
3. CMA/CPA (highly preferred)
Candidates are preferred to be local to the Findlay, Ohio market. This would include Bowling Green, Toledo, Lima, Tiffin, Fremont, Ottawa and Fostoria.
