Job Description:
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced plant engineer to start-up and run a Biosolids Processing plant (wastewater treatment). The Plant Engineer will assist the Plant Manager in supervising the construction and start-up and commercial operations of this one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art facility. Looking for previous experience with other similar process plants (power, refinery, cement, etc...)
Responsible for facility design improvement projects and performance monitoring of the facility for energy efficiency, product quality and process capacity. Also responsible for the facility being in compliance with all applicable environmental permits and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in a Chemical Engineering discipline with at least 3 years experience with processing facility equipment and controls including design, installation, start up and operational troubleshooting.
Design experience with process chemistry and facility instrumentation controls preferred, along with background in the construction and start up of processing type facilities.
Experience with project scheduling and budgeting desirable.
Must have a demonstrated capability to: 1) effectively communicate both orally and in writing 2) analyze and correct problems with the facilitys biosolids conversion process or facility equipment, facility maintenance problems and facility operations and 3) prioritize work, assign tasks and monitor task completion.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and project management software is essential.
