HAWAII - Microbiology Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
Micro Manager. Supervise 30 people in the Microbiology department including one supervisor, and two leads. Department needs to move to 24 hour 7 day a week operation. Currently on days. Great personality/leadership and a solid micro experience. Ideal candidate is currently a Microbiology Supervisor ready to take the next step in their career.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology preferred
2.Current certification or registration as a Medical Technologist such as ASCP, NCA, HEW or equivalent
3.Minimum five years clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or commercial lab setting. The Medical Director may use discretion for an individual with less than 5 years experience.
4.Additional two years supervisory experience in a hospital lab setting.
5.Basic knowledge and skills in lab information systems is desirable
Salary: $65-70K
