Primary responsibilties including but not limited to the following:
- Schedule and coordinate internal audits.
- Interface with the customer and third party registrar’s including AS9100, FAA and NADCAP auditors
- Issue CAR’s from internal audit, customer audits & 3rd party audits
- Perform follow-up on CAR’s from internal , customer, & 3rd party audits
- Prepare for customer and third party auditors (complete checklists, pull completed work order package for audit, etc…)
- Help maintain CAR database. Monitor database to ensure timely responses for closure of CARS (internal and external).
- Respond to customer and 3rd party CARs, submit evidence, etc.
- Maintain audit records, both electronic and hardcopies.
- Respond to customer's supplier surveys.
- Research customer spec’s to keep in compliance with NADCAP and AS9100
- Report to Management – audit findings & required corrective actions
- Coordinate all Internal Audits
Experience/ Education Requirements:
- High School degree min, Associates/ Bachelors degree preferred
- Certified Internal Auditor training or equivalent experience
- Certified CQA or equivalent
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry
- Experience developing and/or complying to Quality Assurance Systems ( ex: AS9100 )
- Knowledge of Special Manufacturing Processes such as Chemical Milling and Heat Treat process preferred
