Industrial Fire Protection Design/Estimating Manager
Job Location: Houston, TX
JOB SUMMARY:
Total Safety US Inc. is seeking an Industrial Design/Estimating Manager in our Houston location, and offering an extremely competitive compensation & benefit package as well as advancement potential for the right individual.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In the capacity of a “working” Design Manager, perform design and project coordination as well as oversee other personnel in design department.
- Work with sales team and develop project estimates and proposals based on customer requirements.
- Perform AutoCAD design per project, NFPA and all state and customer requirements.
- Track project costs, coordinate invoicing, system approvals and material ordering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experienced in design and layout of Industrial Fire Sprinkler Systems or Fire Alarm and Special Hazards Suppression Systems.
- If factory trained in fire alarm and clean agent systems – Notifier fire alarm and Kidde suppression systems a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experienced in contracting business and understanding of contract specifications and “Terms and Conditions”.
- Texas Fire Alarm Planning Superintendent License or Responsible Managing Employee-General License or Professional Engineering License.
- Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
Salary is commensurate with experience.
