Ideal candidates will have 1 5 years of previous Dental Hygienist experience. Duties and Responsibilities: -
Patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, dental charting -
Taking and developing dental x-rays -
Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth -
Applying preventive materials to the teeth -
Teaching patients the appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health -
Counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on overall health -
Making impressions of patient teeth for study casts -
Performing documentation and office administrative activities -
Additional tasks as assigned Experience: -
1-5 years of previous experience -
Strong customer service skills -
Degree from an accredited dental hygiene school -
Oklahoma state license Supervisor Requirements: The professional hired will not be responsible for the direct supervision of any staff. Knowledge and Abilities: -
