Job Summary:
Tulsa Clinic is looking for a Full-Time Front Office employee. This role greets, instructs, and directs patients and visitors. Serves as a liaison between patient or visitor and appropriate staff. Receives cash payments from patients, issues receipts, and makes return appointments. Enters prices on charge tickets.
Working hours are Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.

Displays excellent customer service skills.

Checks patients in.
-
Copies insurance card and puts in mini-chart.
-
Routes patients to registration, if necessary.
-
Makes mini charts as needed.
-
Screens visitors and responds to routine requests for information.

Assists patients with check out of medical records and x-rays.

Receives / collects payments from patients and issues receipts.

Schedules return appointments.

Maintains work area, lobby, and waiting room in a neat and orderly manner.

Disperses disability and FMLA requests from patients.

Runs appointments schedules as needed.

Collects loose papers and mini charts for no shows and cancellations, then forwards them to Medical Records.

Reconciles appointments daily.

Reconciles cash daily.

Balances cash drawer daily.
-
Participates in educational activities.

Attends meetings as required.

Maintains strictest confidentiality.

Performs related work as required.
Experience:
-
1 year of medical experience
-
Experience with Vitera software a plus!

Knowledge of medical billing and coding

Working knowledge of standard computer software
Supervisor Requirements:
The professional hired will not be responsible for the direct supervision of any staff.
