Description:
- Horticulturist Degree Preferred and one year of experience
- Oversee daily responsibilities of horticultural staff
- Hiring and training of new employees
- Knowledge of tools, methods and materials with landscape design, construction and maintenance
- Prepare purchase orders for obtaining necessary materials (bulbs, plants, etc.)
- Planting of flowers or bulbs when necessary
- Maintaining all interior plants in the Hotel and Conference Center
- Responsible for all beds on driving range and golf courses
- Weeding, watering, pruning, trimming and edging
- Abide by safety requirements
- Requires walking and bending
- Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions
