ROLE SUMMARY
Works under the supervision of the Environmental Services ( EVS ) Leadership. Works in all CRMC facilities; following individualized task assignment guidelines for designated areas. Responsible for stocking supplies and maintaining equipment cleanliness and functionality. Observes proper infection control standards and policies.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assemble appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment based on the needs of assigned areas throughout all CRMC facilities. Stocks supplies in assigned areas throughout the day. Stocks and cleans the service cart at the end of the shift.
2. Cleans in all areas throughout all CRMC facilities. (I.E.; patient/ancillary rooms, offices, bathrooms, showers, corridors. ) Utilizes the 7 step daily cleaning process to ensure quality of cleaning is a priority. Follows individualized task assignment guidelines for designated areas. Adheres to all CRMC and department procedures and policies. Completes all required documentation; sign in and out sheets, room cleaning checklists, etc?
3. Utilizes proper infection control practices; (PPE, Procedures, etc...). Uses proper chemicals and equipment safely to ensure no harm occurs to yourself, other individuals or the environment.
4. Takes EVS service requests via radio / pager, emails, and phone. Responsible for completion of all EVS tasks daily. Assists with EVS tasks when necessary.
5. Continuously strives to become proficient in all EVS processes. Assists EVS Team in completion of all duties to ensure all tasks are completed daily.
6. Properly cleans and stores equipment after use. Participates in repair process by placing detailed information on repair tags for equipment in need of service.
7. Participates and Completes continuing education programs related to EVS and healthcare quality service. Participates in Process Improvement initiatives for CRMC and the EVS team. Takes an active part in building positive work relations between members of the Environmental Services Department and all other departments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience
· Industrial cleaning experience is preferred.
