Minimum Requirements:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree with a major in computer applications, computer science or related field; plus two years of experience in computer programming or related area, including one year in a leadership capacity.
Job Duties:
Designs program logic and data flow using an appropriate data processing language. Writes software code that meets the needs of the customer. Communicates status of specification features using a variety of methods to various project stakeholders. Serves a driver to discover and rid software of all defects. Compile, tests and debugs software for required results. Oversees testing for assigned software projects, compiling test results and communicating them using a variety of methods to various project stakeholders. Provides leadership in project teams to develop software specifications that meet customer requested features. Meets with customers to outline needs, turning those defined needs into technical specifications. Provides project supervision to others in the IT team as well as other duties as assigned.
