College of Engineering enrollment is approximately 2100 students. The Electrical Engineering department has 19 full-time faculty and 85 graduate students.
Annual Salary:
The salary range will be $75,000 - $95,000 for a nine month position.
Description:
The Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates should be energetic, motivated researchers/teachers seeking a challenging and fulfilling academic career to aid in the University of Arkansas' quest for excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field. The candidate should have substantial research and education background in organic electronics, such as thin film transistors, sensors, hybrid devices of carbon nanotubes and organic materials as well as circuitry to build a wireless sensory network. The candidate should have a strong research expertise in nanodevice fabrication and characterization, and the use of a variety of clean room facilities.
