The department houses state of the art class 10 and 100 clean room facilities for micro, nano fabrication & characterization, organic electronics, power electronics, LTCC packaging, RF/MW characterization & imaging to 110 GHz, and offers great potential for collaborative research, both within and across disciplines.

College of Engineering enrollment is approximately 2100 students. The Electrical Engineering department has 19 full-time faculty and 85 graduate students.

The Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Associate Professor level for Fall 2008. Energetic, motivated, established researchers/teachers seeking challenging and fulfilling academic careers are sought to aid in the University of Arkansas' quest for excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
All research specializations will be considered with a preference for nanotechnology (organic electronics), communications/DSP and power systems. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
