Negotiable: Up to labor market rate of $33,250.00

Work Schedule:
Rotate Days/shifts 7 am - 3 pm; 3pm - 11 pm; 11 pm - 7 am

Minimum Requirements:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus two years of experience in law enforcement or related area. Certified by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards Training Academy as a Police Officer and possess a valid state motor vehicle operators license.

MVR Check:
Applicants for this position are subject to the university vehicle safety policy.

* Arrest high risk offenders
* Use deadly force
* Pursue suspects of foot
* Execute search warrants
* Operate vehicle, emergency
* Operate vehicle, non-emergency
* Provide crowd control
* Investigate traffic accidents
* Pursue suspects in vehicle
* Conduct searches
* Conduct interviews
* Search suspects/prisoners
* Defuse domestic disturbances
* Defuse other disturbances
* Serve arrest/search warrants
* Assist with disabled vehicles
* Assist other emergency personnel
* Use restraining devices
* Use weaponless force
* Use observation skills
* Maintain equipment
* Use non-lethal weapons
* Attend practical training
* Prepare and testify in Circuit Court
* Relate with the public
* Relate with fellow officers
* Use officer presence for defusing situations
* Transport persons in custody
* Respond to alarms
* Monitor roadways for safe travel
* Write reports
* Enforce criminal/traffic statutes
* Assist citizens
