Minimum Requirements:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree with a major in computer applications, computer science or related field; plus two years of experience in computer programming or related area, including one year in a leadership capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PeopleSoft Internet Architecture - 2 years experience. Preferred candidates will have experience with Enterprise Portal development, maintenance and management. Specific skills include knowledge of PeopleTools 8.4 and above, Enterprise Portal 8.8 and above, and Campus Solutions 8.0 and above. Experience with web development - 2 years experience with development in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, and CGI. Preferred candidates will have skills with XML, Java, SQL, ADA compliance, graphic design, page layout, and familiarity with industry standard guidelines for usability in web design. Knowledge of web server administration - 2 years experience.
Job Duties:
Design and develop custom enterprise portal solutions to integrate PeopleSoft Campus Solutions into the portal format, interface and integrate other campus service offerings within the Enterprise Portal umbrella; manage the needs of the Enterprise Portal in a production environment to ensure its stable operation; Keep accurate documentation of Enterprise Portal relationships with content providers; maintain a thorough knowledge of industry-wide portal technologies and strategies for portal content delivery.
