12 Month, Non-Tenure Appointment
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. degree required. Essential qualifications include expertise in feed mixing, understanding of poultry husbandry, and experience with poultry judging activities. Experience with poultry youth activities is strongly preferred.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities include designing and conducting poultry nutrition experiments, and collecting, preparing, summarizing, and reporting experimental results. Responsibilities will also include overseeing and assisting with daily animal care, preparing poultry diets using feed mixing equipment, and processing poultry at the University of Arkansas Pilot Processing Plant. In addition, responsibilities will include assisting with poultry judging courses and workshops, as well as youth activities (as part of the departmental recruiting program).
