Description:
Twelve-month appointment, renewable pending satisfactory performance and continued funding.
Minimum Requirements:
B. S. degree. Preference will be given to individual with training and/or experience working with wheat, corn , grain sorghum or rice research and/or production. Individual will be expected to perform basic agricultural operations associated with these crops and should possess basic computer skills, particularly use of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Job Duties:
This position is the primary liaison between the Station and project leaders working with wheat, corn, grain sorghum and rice. The individual will work directly with the variety testing program on these crops and be responsible for activities associated with wheat, corn, grain sorghum and rice research plots at Lon Mann Cotton Research Station and for carrying out other duties as assigned by the Resident Director and project leaders.
