Minimum Requirements:
Applicant must have a formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree with a major in business administration, industrial management, or related field.A minimum of three years experience with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or related experience. Effectively communicate with employees and ability to evaluate their work. Applicant must be able to interface effectively and diplomatically with the coaching staff and University administrators and officials to provide a cohesive working environment.
Job Duties:
Supervise housekeeping activities of the Athletic Facilities Operations Department within the University of Arkansas. Provide service to departmental facilities to include all sporting venues and administrative offices. Develop and facilitate the training programs for new employees and in-service training for all housekeeping personnel. Develop and implement a recycling program for the Facilities Management Department within Athletics to be in connection with the University’s goals for recycling. Develop and oversee contracted services such as window cleaners, post event cleaning, and special event cleaning. Assist with the development and implementation of the operational and capital budgets. Assist the Athletic Facilities Operations Department within the University of Arkansas during all sporting events and special events when necessary.
