Minimum Requirements:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in physical science or related area.
MVR Check:
Applicants for this position are subject to the university vehicle safety policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid driver's license is required. Knowledge of general farm operations and procedures, knowledge of operations and maintenance of basic farm equipment is preferred.
HR Screening:
University of Arkansas Human Resources will screen for preferred requirements
Job Duties:
Assist the Farm Foreman and Farm Mechanic in the maintenance and repair of farm, irrigation and research equipment. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to lift 75 lb. bags of seed. Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
