Starting salary is $32,000.
Description:
This is a full-time 12 month position with fringe benefits. The individual will be investigating the optoelectronic properties of nanostructures materials and devices with the emphasis on multi-color detectors and photovoltaic devices.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidate should have earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Solid State Physics, or any of the related disciplines and have at least one year of experience beyond the Ph.D. level. The candidate should also possess the ability to write technical and conference papers and to present the results at national and international meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Talented individuals who are newly graduated or those who are about to graduate will be seriously considered. Additional experience in MBE and CVD growth; materials characterization using electrical, optical and structural instrumentations; device fabrication using both wet and dry processes; device testing; and knowledge in photo detectors and photovoltaic devices is desirable.
