Description:
The University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure-track position in Chinese to begin in August 2010. PhD in Chinese literature, linguistics, culture or related discipline is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching and research and the ability to teach Chinese language at all levels. The successful candidate will be willing to teach Business Chinese, develop culture and society courses, have experience using technology in the classroom, and participate in building the Chinese language program. Native or near-native fluency in Chinese and English is required.
