This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, has a working knowledge of college and university policies and procedures, displays professional communication skills, and functions independently with little or no supervision. This position functions with a high level of confidentiality. Job Duties Administrative support to the program Director and Assistant Director(s) Clerical and technology support Process inquiries and requests Maintain program required records Assist with program marketing, recruitment, retention, and graduation Assist with purchasing, conference registration, etc. Perform and maintain accurate data entry Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, i.e. healthcare agencies, vendors, etc. Maintain and monitor University, State Board of Nursing, and accreditation deadlines Assist with the direction of student employee work Special Notes For UW Oshkosh campus safety / security information, visit http://www.tts.uwosh.edu/dean/campussecurityact/index.html, or call the Human Resources Office at 920/424-1166 for a paper copy. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge or ability to learn College of Nursing policies and procedures, including expert Post-licensure Program knowledge of pre-requisites, holistic admission process, and curricula Comprehensive understanding of the general policies and resources of the University Expert knowledge or ability to learn College of Nursing/clinical agency health requirements, medical terminology, medical records, lab reports, HIPAA, CDC, OSHA, and clinical agency expectations for care givers, and Wisconsins Care Giver Law Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced functions and ability to quickly learn new programs Intermediate to high-level proficiency with the University Student Information System, especially the functions of campus community, student enrollment, transcript request, application maintenance, and class building Working knowledge of purchasing, travel expense reporting, and invoicing Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively organize work to meet tight deadlines Advanced keyboarding skills Ability to write grammatically correct correspondence, speak and convey thoughts clearly
