Requirements (Degree/Experience):
- MSW with a minimum of two years post-MSW professional social work practice.
- The DSW or Ph.D. in social work (or a related field) or significant senior level faculty experience.
- Potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly work.
- Commitment to undergraduate education for generalist practice and willingness to teach in both MSW and BSW programs.
- Demonstrated evidence of collaborative work with community partners.
- Experience with diverse groups.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching some combination of at least two of the following curriculum areas: generalist practice, human behavior, social policy, research, and field practicum with some student advisement in either the MSW or BSW program.
- Engage in creative and collaborative curriculum planning with social work colleagues and colleagues in the liberal arts.
- Contribute to published professional knowledge base.
- Provide service to the profession, the community, and the university.
