Job Details:
· High school graduate or equivalent required · Proficient use of medical terminology, ICD-9, CPT/HCPCs required · Coding Certification or LPN preferred · Experience with insurance claims preferred · Successfully apply medical necessity criteria and authorization criteria to individual situations · Must maintain a positive interpersonal skills and attitude toward customers at all times · Able to use good judgment and critical thinking skills to prioritize multiple tasks and problem solve · Telephone skills required, including ability to speak with patients, physicians' offices, payers, etc. while inputting information on-line
