JOB SUMMARY:
Provides assessment, crisis intervention, short term counseling, and referral of employees for multi-hospital healthcare organization. Consults with managers regarding employees with performance problems. Conducts training sessions for supervisors and employees on a variety of topics including Employee Assistance Programs, chemical dependency/alcoholism and stress management. Required to travel to all hospital sites in rural region to deliver services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree in counseling or mental health field required
- CEAP (Certified Employee Assistance Professional) certification or eligibility preferred
- Licensure in VA in a mental health field required: LPC, LCSW, LCP
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable transportation and travel to affiliate locations required
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills essential
- Skill with public speaking
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Criminal Background checks include:
- VA State Police
- 3rd party Background Check
- Central Registry
