Job Details:
? BS from accredited school with major in Nutrition/Dietetics or Masters accepted by Commission on Dietetic Registration.
? Registered or Registry eligible w/6 months.
? Certification by the National Certification Board of Diabetes Educators is desirable or a minimum of 24 hours of education that includes education principles and 15 content areas specified by the National Standards of the American Diabetes Association, as well as a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education in diabetes education principles every 2 years.
? Competent to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs which may apply based on the age of the patient served.
