Duties:
Create solutions that balance functional requirements, technology direction, cost, and existing infrastructure for highly available and highly scalable enterprise-level systems distributed across multiple geographies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, business administration, IT, MIS or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as seven years of experience in information technology infrastructure, architecture, and engineering. Experience must include: three years in managerial-level role; highly available and highly scalable enterprise-level systems distributed across multiple geographies; user identity and access management using LDAP as well as knowledge of DNS; database technologies: Oracle and MySQL; Weblogic, JBoss, and Apache web server configuration; MQSeries; FTP integration with vendors; mail server technology: QMail, Sendmail, and Postfix; scripting languages: Perl, GCI and Java; Sun Solaris and Linux operating systems; and virtualization/VMware.
