Job Description:
Position Summary: A key member of the Rehab Services professional staff responsible for providing clinically competent evaluations and/or treatment programs for all assigned patients and to document care according to department standards. Represents Via Christi within the community. of the job. Demonstrates knowledge of injury illness or disability of patient population served and clinical competency and performance in the following: · evaluations assessment tools and intervention programs; · equipment/modalities used in treatment; · documentation and charging according to departmental standards meet productivity standards as set per clinical area Demonstrate adequate communication skills both verbal and written. Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills with patients family staff and others. Demonstrate and promote being a good team member as displayed by flexibility willingness to assist different departmental service areas or locations as requested showing respect and cooperation with all departments and individuals. Provide professional education to students staff and the public. Demonstrate commitment and support of the Via Christi Health System mission and core values. Education and/or Experience: Associates degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school or a bachelor's degree from a 4 year college. Graduate of an accredited occupational therapist assistant's program.    Certificates Licenses Registrations:State and/or national license registration or certification appropriate to professional credentials AND a current CPR certification.
