Job Description:
Position Summary: Provides frontline service on a broad scope encompassing Via Christi's five core values of Human Dignity Vision Wisdom Service and Community. The core value philosophy will be demonstrated through daily interaction. The healing mission of Via Christi will be supported by providing a clean safe and comfortable environment to the patients customers and staff we serve. Highly visible customer oriented position providing the highest quality of service at all times. The Environment of Care team has the power authority and responsibility to satisfy the customer. Essential Functions: Other duties may be assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. Performs all cleaning tasks in a satisfactory manner. Handles all patient customer and staff requests or refers to proper personnel. Works toward medical center and department goals. Greets patients customers staff and physicians cheerfully. Acts supportive to patient and staff needs. Participates in CQI efforts as requested. Insures that all actions are directed towards customer satisfaction. Continues training to improve personal skills. Recommends creative work ethics and communicates ideas to coordinator and manager. Works toward safe working habits. Works as an integral part of the team.
