Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Full time nights, Part time evenings positions available
Introduction:
Serving 55,000 patients a year, Waterbury Hospital's Emergency Department puts you on the frontline of care in an active, well-respected community hospital. You will face a wide variety of new challenges each day, as well as help to provide quality care to a diverse patient population, from pediatric to elderly. Our department also includes a four-bed Behavioral Health Unit staffed by psychiatric nurses. In addition to the pride of being part of a premier health care team, including Board Certified Emergency Physicians and Mid-level practitioners, you'll appreciate working in a recently renovated facility with the latest equipment and excellent staffing.
Qualifications:
Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. Experience in Emergency Department Nursing. ACLS, TNCC, ENPC and PALS preferred.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the multi-disciplinary care delivery team, the professional nurse practices, delegates and collaborates with other team members to facilitate the coordination and delivery of emergency care to patients exhibiting a wide range of urgent and emergent needs.
