Performs routine and special collection techniques to obtain identified patient blood specimens for delivery to the laboratory. Collects and prepares samples for analysis identifying at drawstation and/or patients` home using appropriate technique and equipment for the patient population including: neonate, infrant, child, adolescent, adult or older adult. Demonstrates univeral precautions as well as hospital infection control policies. Processes orders for Laboratory testing using established order entry procedures in HIS.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one year experience in outpatient phlebotomy setting required. Completion of a Phlebotomy training program a plus. Must possess strong customer service skills and have the ability to work independently. Valid CT Drivers license and clean driving record required.

Schedule: FOUR (4) HOUR DAYS SCHEDULED BETWEEN 7AM AND 12:30PM ( FLEX AS NEEDED) ,MONDAY-FRIDA, INCLUDES OCCASIONAL SATURDAY MORNINGS.
