Introduction:
If you're an experienced nurse interested in a psychiatric specialty, Waterbury Hospital's Center for Behavioral Health provides an opportunity to excel in this exciting field. Caring for patients from adolescents to older adults, our broad continuum of care spans from inpatient and partial hospital to intensive outpatient and emergency room crisis care. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, you help plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate patient care for those with acute and long-term conditions.
Qualifications:
Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. Recent Behavioral Health experience required.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the multi-disciplinary care delivery team, the professional nurse practices, delegates and collaborates with other team members to facilitate the coordination and delivery of crisis care for those patients exhibiting urgent and emergent needs.
Closing: Applications are taken Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., in our Human Resources office, located on the second floor of the hospital in the Main Building.
