Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit
Job Location: Waterbury, CT
Shift:
Full time, 36 hour night position, 12 hour shifts with every third weekend
Introduction:
As a nurse in the Cardiovascular Unit, you will have the opportunity to provide care to post-operative Cardio thoracic and cardiac intervention patients. This patient population will present the opportunity to provide challenging, compassionate care while utilizing the highest technology. You will work closely with our nurse practitioners and physicians while caring for this challenging population.
Qualifications:
Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. CCRN and ACLS certifications preferred. Recent critical care experience required.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the multi-disciplinary care delivery team, the professional nurse practices, delegates and collaborates with other team members to facilitate the coordination and delivery of intensive patient care to the critically ill patient population.
