The role of the Integrative Health Services LCSW reports to the clinic manager with clinic oversight from the physician leadership. This position is responsible for assisting patients through direct professional counseling services as well as case management services and will serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient receives necessary care.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Evaluate patients to determine need for counseling and case management services
Provide billable counseling services for a variety of mental health conditions that are commonly seen in a medical and/or integrative health services practice setting
Contact and follow up with patients and/or family members to assist with psychosocial issues that are seen in a medical and/or integrative health services practice setting
Address patient concerns and goals while maintaining constant communication with the patient as well as a case manager while ensuring strict confidentiality
Work closely with interdisciplinary care team to develop care plan for patients
Research and refer patients to community resources
Create and implement various social, counseling, integrative health, and other programs, lectures, and community events as they relate to the integrative health services program
Education: Graduate of an accredited Master of Social Work program
Licensure and Certifications: Arkansas Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), required.
Experience: Previous experience and knowledge of community resources, case management and counseling services, required. Previous experience with family systems therapy, preferred.
