Dialysis Centers of Northwest Arkansas (DCNA) is committed to improving the quality of life and providing the best care for patients with acute and chronic renal disease. We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! The Dialysis Treatment Team consists of Board Certified Nephrologists, Registered Nurses, Dietitians, Social Workers, and Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians.

As a Registered Nurse with Dialysis, this position is responsible for coordinating the total nursing care of assigned patients including assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation. The RN is responsible for delegating and supervising the job classes of: Patient Care Technician and LPN. The RN assists in the orientation of new staff and clinical supervision of nursing students.This position has exposure to body fluids and communicable disease common to dialysis.

The majority of work time is spent standing and/or walking of short distances, with frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting of up to 100 lbs., as well as occasional carrying of up to 25 lbs. Heavy transferring, pushing and pulling of patients weighing up to 200lbs. is occasionally required. Both adult and geriatric patients are provided dialysis treatments in center.

Requirements for this position:

• Registered Nurse License
• CPR
• Exellecent interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with physicians, staff, patients, & their families.
