Washington Regional Medical Center is looking for Surgical RNs
Washington Regionals surgical services department has opportunities available in our Main OR.
All new hires will be assigned a dedicated preceptor during their orientation process.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver care to patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures
Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate the outcomes of interventions
Addresses the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual responses of surgical patients
Participate in patient/family teaching
Create and maintain a sterile field
Promote a compassionate environment
Promote teamwork with physicians and other team members

Licensure
You must have an Arkansas RN license or be licensed in a compact state.

Educational and Certification Requirements
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program

Desired Skills
Previous experience in an OR environment is preferred
Professional bedside manner
Knowledge of infection control practices
Physiological knowledge
Medication administration experience
Ability to work with a team
Ability to multi-task
Good listening skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
