This position is responsible to those activities relating to food service as assigned to meet the demands of the schedule on a particular shift, and is responsible for any task necessary to ensure quality products and service to patients and to perform duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operations of the organization.
Physical Demands: This position has exposure to extremes in noise and temperature, cleaning chemicals and equipment as normally related to food service production areas. Requires occasional bending, stooping, and stretching. Majority of time is spent standing for prolonged periods and/or walking both short and long distances (up to 90% of work time). Requires lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. (up to 30 % of work time) and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs. (up to 30% of work time is required).

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Previous work experience preferred. Good communication skills, as usually associated with successful completion of a high school diploma or GED. Language Skills: Must be able to read and/or write English and follow written and verbal instructions. Additional languages preferred.
